Updates...

Not much going on in the world of Wow for me. Kind of burnt out alittle, getting back in touch with my family and friends. I play here and there, but not as much as before, just taking a holiday break. I am sure I will be back in full swing after the new year.

In other news, the heat is back on after only a day of coldness. It seems that all it was, was a the pressure switch in my gas furnace. Called the Home warrenty place, they sent someone out that day, and only cost me $55. Not sure if it is worth renewing or not, still debating.

Other than that, not much has been going on. Been enjoying the sun past few days. Megan has started to ride her bike, slowly learning how to ride it. I hope by the spring, she will be able to keep up with me and Tiff riding our bikes.

More updates to come...

Back and Cold..

Well, we made it back into town last night, and when we got home, our heat did not work :-(. I checked all the normal things, fuses, etc and nothing. It was 56 degrees in our house and not getting any warmer. Not sure what was going on but all I knew I was in for a long night.

Luckily we had flannel sheets on our bed and a pretty thick comforter, that made the night pretty warm. We decide to let Megan sleep in our bed since the upstairs was pretty chilly. All in all it was not to bad. The sheets really helped keeping us warm, plus 3 of us in the bed keep us all warm.

Have not played much of WoW over the break, but will more than likely do so since I am off all week. Got a PsP for Christmas, so will play that some I think. Not much more than that going on, currently waiting for the heater guy to show up. We still have a home warranty that the sellers bought for a year that will pay for most of the repairs if any.

On that subject, not sure if it is worth it in the long run to renew the warranty. It is around $500 for the year, and I think that I can just put money back instead of getting the warranty for the year, and come out ahead. Not sure, will do some more research on it. What do you think?

Will let you know when my heat is back up, have a good day, till next time.

Out of town..

Might not see many updated over the next week. Going out of town for Christmas. I will be trying to update, as I will have my laptop with me, but if I don't you know where I will be.

Have a Merry Christmas...

Changes...

What you think? Changed the title and the name. The name kersplooge, comes form both my gaming and my life. For ppl that have kids that watch Dora the Explorer (http://www.nickjr.com/shows/dora/index.jhtml) it comes from the episode "Lost Squeaky". It is also the name of my new 70 paladin on Baelgun WoW server. I thought it was fitting that the name be simple that fits both my WoW life and my life as a father.

To give you a little background, I am 31 years of age been married happily for 5 years now. I have a 3 year old girl, and a baby boy on the way due in April. I am a systems engineer working for a telecom in Little Rock, AR.

This blog will be about my daily life in and out of the game, World of Warcraft. I have 3 lvl 70s that I play, all of which are on Baelgun server. I transfered to this server a few months back to play with some friends, from the Garona server. My toons are 70 rogue wassneaky, 70 priest healyourself, and a 70 paladin kersplooge.

I guess that is all for now, expect more to come.

Weeked work..

Had a pretty good weekend. Play wayyyyy too much WoW, so now going to have to back off for a few days to get my bearings again. Ending up reviving my rogue, and realizing that I really, really like PvPing with him.

So with this new found love, I set off to see what I could do. Got in a 5v5 and got my ass owned. Did some reading and I believe that it will be awhile till we get some wins. I got my 10 wins in for the week. Got into some AV and really liking that, ending up getting season 1 Gladiator gloves to help with my stamina. We will see.

Got my Kersplooge, my paladin, to almost 70. Will probably get him to 70 today. Ran Shadow labs, got 1000 - 1500 xp per kill, was very nice. That coupled with quest, ending up getting around 200k worth of xp.

Write again soon...

Some changes incomming

In an effort to start writing in my blog more, you will be seeing some changes. As you already see, the layout has changed. In the upcomming weeks, expect more changes to the layout and content.

Learning my camera

I have had my camera for about a year now, it is a DSLR Olympus E-500. I should have done this a long time ago, but never did. Learn how to use a camera.

This type of camera is not a point and click. I really believe you can really take some good pictures if you take the time and learn what it takes to make a picture turn out. It takes the knowing what shutter speed, aperture and ISO.

Here is a good link that I found that really explains what each of these are, http://www.photographyjam.com/articles/29/camera-basics-shutter-speed-aperture-and-iso

I am wanting to try some new lenses, apart from the kit lenses that I got with my camera. I might bring it up to the local camera shop and see what a new lens can do for me. I know right now I can't afford a new lens but maybe after the new year and a little bit of saving.

Now with some of my gaming...

I ran Kara last night with my guild, got to Chess event and took down Nightbane. Had problems on Shade, but it was late and I think ppl were just tired. Going to try and make it again tonight to finish up, but don't know.

Found a good site for building your character, http://www.warcrafter.net/. After running Kara, I realized that I am really lacking in gear. I currently have 840 to shadow damage, and in the Kara raid last night I was right above the MT in damage. I know sad.

Some upgrades that I can get are Spellstrike Hood, Gladiators S1 main hand, and the Orb of the Soul caller, with 25 badges. That should get me closer to 1000 shadow damage, but still have a lot of gear to get outside of Kara.

Enough for today, till next time...

Nothing new..

Not a lot going on today. Went down to Garvin Woodland Gardens last night. It was nice despite the down pour of rain that happened. I will get some pics up soon. Also did some more reading on my camera. It has the annoying ability to shutter the flash a lot while trying to focus. This can be resolved for the most part by changing some settings, but loose some functionally of it, buying an external flash or get a new lens. I will first change some settings and see if that fixes it some.

Till another time, have fun.

Its Official...

We are having a boy. Went today with Tiffany, and had an ultrasound done, and we are having a boy. Got a lot of pictures taken, attached are 2. Tiffany does not think that I am excited, but I am, but this is different than when we had Megan. I am going into this, knowing what to expect. Having our second child I hope will be easier than having our first and this will be our last.

On another note, I will be traveling up to Harrison, AR for work tomorrow. I have to setup a new Windows server. Harrison, AR is about 3 hours away from Little Rock. Leaving around 6-7 in the morning and will try to get up there around 9-10. Never been up that way, so kind of looking forward to it.

On a gaming note, started leveling a BE mage, currently at 21. Trying to get him up to around 30 quickly to play with a buddy that just started back. My focus has changed, less raiding and more just having fun with friends. Getting on vent, BSing and just having fun playing a game.

I think that is the main reason why I still play, to keep in touch with my friends. If I did not have anyone I knew online I doubt I would be playing again. I have been using a leveling guide, so far so good, I am hoping now that I am 20, the new xp gains since patch 2.3 will really help get me to Outland.

Till another time...

Weekend work...

Well, had a very busy weekend. Started off getting up and helping some ppl at my church hang some house lights for a guy that had suffered a brain tumor. After getting the lights up, a few of us decided to go play some flag football. Went out and played for about an hour then came home and put Megan down for her nap.

When Megans nap was done, we decided to go the the Little Rock Christmas parade and capitol lighting. Attached are some pics from this. We met up with Tiffany's friend, Beckie. Got home from that and went to bed to wake up at 12:00am to go to work. Got in at 5 AM and finally woke up.

As you can see, a very busy day. My mother-in-law is coming in today because tomorrow we are going to find if we are having a boy or a girl. Other than this, not much else going on. Cleaning up around the house, and putting up lights and other things for Christmas.

A Fresh Start

As most of you know I have not been updating my blog. I have not felt compelled to do so. I am going to try and change that.

Me and the wife have determined that it is time to get bikes to ride around the neighborhood. We went to a few big box stores and checked out a few of the bikes there. Most of these bikes were sub $200. Talking with more than one person that rides bikes both casually and non-casually, they all recommend staying away from these types of bikes.

So it took me to a few bike stores here in Little Rock. The first place, Chainwheel, from my first impressions, was geared toward the enthusiast. I saw lots of high end bikes. Went to another bike shop today, Little Rock Bike and Fitness. Must better bike shop for me. They are a Trek bike dealer, and the bike they recommended to me was around $350-$400. IMO that is a good starting price for a bike.

So now I am just going to eat dinner with my wife tonight, try and take her to the bike shop and see what she thinks. After if I get the urge and time, I want to go jogging. I really want to start this back up.

I have started bringing my lunch, and to me this is a big thing. For me it not only saves money, it will help me with meal portions and help me loose some weight.

Like I said before, I really am going to try and keep this blog going. Till next time.

Balancing WoW and Life

One thing that I have been trying to do is balance WoW playing and being a husband. I am doing a better job than I did in the past. I don't know if anyone can raid hardcore and raise a family. This is not what I am doing.

I get online after I put my little girl to bed around 8-9pm, my guilds raid starts at 8 since it is a EST guild and this works out pretty good. I don't get a chance to go to raids as much as i would like but I distance myself from WoW enough that it makes me want more. I don't get burnt out as quickly.

I think this is what the family man that plays wow needs to do. Spend time with your family first then play wow. I did it the other way around and it hurt my family. At that time, I got burnt out and took a 2 month break. When I came back I had a new outlook on the game. I also help maintain 2 different guild web sites.

See you soon..

Sorry for the lack of updates

Sorry for the lack of updates. I just have not felt like writing on my blog. I have been off of my diet and workout schedule for a few weeks, but really trying to get back on it. I went a got a journal to track my eating, but did pretty bad on the weekend. I really belive that this is something that I need to do. I have been eating around 1500 calories but 30-40 grams of fat.

I walked in the Little Rock race for the cure this past weekend and it was nice. It was a 2k, and there were around 45,000 people there. After that we went to the pumpkin patch with my little girl, up top is the picture.

Going to be in class all this week with Veritas clustering Training, so will try and keep my blog updated, but just don't' know. I need to keep it going, it seems to help with I write about what I do.

Till next time.

A new Week

Well, I have been trying to not eat as much, and have so far been doing just OK. I have been eating a cereal for breakfast and a small salad for lunch with an apple and an orange for snacks. I try and eat every 3-4 hours but really it has been every 3. I don't stop drinking water and try not to think of food, and I think that I am getting headaches because I am not eating as much as I am used to.

On another topic, I watched the NBC premiers today and I have to say that i like it. Chuck was probably my least favorite , with Hero's being top and Journeyman being under that. I actually don't have enough tuners to record all of the shows that I want to record. There is a show tonight called Reaper that I want to watch but have too many other things to record.

Till another time...

My eating...

Well, it seems that my eating is the cause of my weight. I have been going to the gym and working out and jogging outside and trying my hardest to get fit, but it seems to come down to my eating. I have tried keeping a journal but that did not last.

It comes down to what I eat at night. I get home form work and I am starving, and i typically eat a hardy meal. For instance tonight is Megans tumble class and typicall we go out to eat at a Mexican restaurant. I will make a suggestion to go somewhere else, but typically Megan has it set in her head that after tumble, it is Mexican time for dinner.

Maybe I will just suck it up and be hungry during the day and drink my lunch. I can control my breakfast and lunches, but not so much my dinners. If there is anyone out there that is reading my blog, any tips or suggestions?

This week

Not much going on this week. Been trying to hit the gym every day this week, but my weakness has been eating. I have not been eating dinners that are healthy. My typical daily meal has been:

Breakfast - cereal
Lunch - Subway or some other type of low fat lunch
Dinner - Pizza or some other type of high fat dinner

Eating is my crutch atm. I can go to the gym 5 days a week and run and mow the yard, but i love food and I eat too much.

On to my gaming, my pally is coming along, I am 55 right now and just starting Un'goro. I am rolling though the zone, with little problem. Most mobs that I have encountered is yellow or green.

If anyone that does not know, my family is expecting another child :-) I am excited, but I prob don't show it. Wife goes to the doctor next month, and I have no doubt that all will be fine.

Megans birthday is next month, trying to get everything setup and confirmed for that. She will be 3 years old.

Untill next time.

Turn aournd week

Well, this week will be my turn around week. I was on vacation 2 weeks ago, and then could not get back into the gym last week, so this week will be 5 full days of the gym and running. It may not be a lot of running but I will be doing some exercise after work. I signed up for the Race for the Cure 5k in October. Should be fun. It will be my first 5k ever, so need to get to jogging to get my endurance back up.

I will have a new weight up later today after I get it done from the gym. It will not be pretty. I should also have some pics from our vacation up sometime this weekend. i will get our camera back then and will add some to the site then. Till then, have fun.

Been Awhile

Sorry for the lack of updates. I will try and do better. Just got back from vacation in Hilton Head Island, SC and had a grand old time. Did not rain till the last day we were there. Drove down to Jacksonville, FL and visited with family for a day that I have not seen in 5-10 years. Drove up to Charleston, SC, and spent a day there sightseeing.

All in all a good week away. I am sort of ready to get back in the grind of things. Got to do some things around the house and also got to get back on my diet and workouts.

I will post some pics as soon as I get my camera back, we left it in Monroe while i was visiting there.

Bad Day :-(

Well, I did not get up this morning and jog. I just could not get myself out of bed. I have been so tired lately with all of this working out and jogging, that all I wanted to do was sleep. I will try and get out to the park after dinner tonight.

I still have a date with the gym at lunch time, will do some circuit training, and hit the weights. I have been looking into doing a core exercise on my odd days. Maybe use a exercise ball to work my abs and core.

Wednesday, August 15, 2007

Second day

Well, I got up again this morning and went jogging. It was allot harder today. I am more sore than I was yesterday and waking up was allot harder. For the rest of the week I have 2 miles to go on Thursday and 1.5 miles on Friday. Saturday is my long day with 3 miles.

I know I can do it, it is just the fact of getting over that hump to start it. I am getting allot of support from my friends and family. Been talking to Bob Slaughter back in Monroe/West Monroe who has given me some good tips on running and allot of support.

Well that is enough of that, on with the gaming. I bought Madden 08 for my Wii yesterday and all I can say is WoW. I like it. The control is very neat and different. For instance, to do a stiff arm to the left, all you do is swing your right remote to the left, and to juke to the left, you just swing your left nunchuck to the left. It is very innovative and different I can see why EGM gave it better reviews than the ps3 version.

Oh, well, till next time...

Peace..

Fitness Facts...

Fitness Fact 1. Studies have suggested that walking at a brisk pace for three or more hours a week can reduce your risk for coronary heart disease by 65 percent.

Fitness Fact 2. About 25 percent of American adults — and an even greater percentage of women — are sedentary. After age 44, upwards of 30 percent of women are sedentary, and by age 65, the proportion increases to almost 35 percent. By the time they reach age 75, about 50 percent of all women are sedentary.

Fitness Fact 3. Only about 22 percent of American adults engage in regular, sustained physical activity for at least 30 minutes five times a week, and only 15 percent exercise both regularly and vigorously.

Fitness Fact 4. No matter how poor your current level of fitness, you can start an exercise routine and become fitter and healthier. Even 90-year-old women who use walkers have been shown in studies to benefit from light weight training.

Fitness Fact 5. Simply adding movement into your daily routine can increase your level of fitness. For example, if you park in the last row of the parking lot and walk briskly five minutes each way between your office and your car, walk up and down the stairs at your office during your 10-minute afternoon coffee break, and walk the dog for 10 minutes when you get home, you've racked up 30 minutes of exercise for the day.

Fitness Fact 6. Women with heart disease or arthritis actually experience improved daily function from involvement in various modes of physical activity.

Fitness Fact 7. Fitness consists of four components: your body's ability to use oxygen as a source of energy, which translates into cardiovascular fitness; muscular strength and endurance; flexibility; and body composition.

Fitness Fact 8. To address all the components of fitness, an exercise program needs to include aerobic exercise, which is continuous repetitive movement of large muscle groups that raises your heart rate; weight lifting or strength training; and flexibility exercises or stretching.

Fitness Fact 9. Walking at a brisk pace (a 15-minute mile or 4 mph) burns almost as many calories as jogging for the same distance. The benefit of jogging is that it takes less time to cover the same distance and it benefits the bones; however, it may be too strenuous for some.

Fitness Fact 10. It takes about 12 weeks after starting an exercise program to see measurable changes in your body. However, before 12 weeks, you will notice an increase in your strength and endurance.

This morning...

Well, I did it. I got up this morning and ran about 2 miles. I need to figure out a better route to take so I can better judge my distance. It was nice and calming this morning, with a few other ppl jogging too. I will get up next morning and do the same thing.

I am curious as to how much to exercise. I am planing on going to the gym during lunch like usual and doing some cardio. Should i be doing this even though I am going to try and jog every morning? I guess I am curious as to how much is too much.

Monday, August 13, 2007

Ok, here it is. My weight dropped 2 pounds since last week, all of it fat. The downside is that I did not gain any muscle over the past week. Maybe with me jogging in the mornings I will see more muscle and less fat. Only time will tell :-)

Training

Well, I am starting one goal that I have trying to accomplish for a few years now. I signed up for training for the Little Rock Marathon on March 2nd 2008. I will be training for the next 29 weeks. The main thing that I have to overcome is waking up in the mornings to run and follow my training schedule. I am not a morning person, so this will be tough for me but I know i can overcome this.

In other news, I got my weight for this week and I lost 2 pounds over last week, with muscle and water weight staying the same. All in all not a bad week work working out. II will continue on this week with my workout to try to break that 240 limit. I will have my printout up later this evening.

weekend...

Had a very good weekend. Was very busy. First we went to a friend house and ate hot dogs and relaxed, then I went to work Saturday night. Getting home at 6am, got up at10 to go to church then home to relax some before going to swim at Willow springs, outside of Little Rock with my church, New Life. It was very fun at Willow Springs. The place was intrestering, it had a nostalgic feel to it, with sand bottom and the grass and concrete walls. Attached are a few pics that were taken there, enjoy.

This weeks weight..

Here is my weight sheet for this week. I was not too happy to see that I gained a pound but the trainer said that it was due to muscle gain. Ether way I was not happy so this week I have been working really hard. I know I am loosing weight because my pants are getting looser but I still would like to see the weight drop more.

WoW !!!

I am not talking about World of Warcraft this time. I did something that I have not done in a long time. Me and my family went down to the park at the end of our street and decided to go for a little walk on the trails and to play in the playground.

After completing the back half of the park, my wife and child wanted to go play on the playground but for some reason I had the urge to keep going on around the lake to get some more exercise. Instead of walking I decided to try and do a slow jog to see how far I could go before I got winded.

To my amazement I went the whole way around the lake for a total of 1 mile worth of jogging. I was floored that I did this. I kept waiting and waiting for me to get winded and tired and it never came. I got to my wife and little girl and felt like I could keep going. My wife was surprised and happy to see that I could do it.

Atached is a picture from the park where I was at jogging.

Laters...

My new pally..

Well, I started leveling my pally and I have to say that I love it. I am currently speced defensive

Currently working on getting my professions up and taking a break from leveling. I am hoping to get a level today, but will see. Can't wait to get to 40 as I get my mount then and damn I need my mount.

This weeks workout...

Well, I got weighed and I did not do as well as I had hoped. I gained one pound but my trainer seems to think that this is a good thing because I lost fat and gained muscle. I will get scan of the print out up tonight.

Either way, it is making me work harder this week and eat better. I am really going to try and keep under 15 grams of fat per meal. This is going to be my goal this week.

I got to talking to a guy at the gym and I am thinking about running in the Little Rock Marathon next year. I am still unsure about this because it involves me getting up early and train, and I am not a morning person. Only time will tell.

Till next time...

Wednesday, August 1, 2007

Not allot went on today. Not much going on around work atm either. Madden 08 comes out in 2 weeks and I can't wait.

Gym went well, I really are starting to get motivated. For the first time in my life I am actually wanting to go to the gym, and it feels weird. I can see good things finally happening to me, it is nice.

Also looking to get a new TV/entertainment system. Going to wait till next year to purchase because I have too much to pay off and to pay for right now, to justify a new TV. With the TV, I think I might get a PS3. Been reading, and I hope by then they will become a little more affordable.

Till next time.

My toons

If anyone is wondering, I have toons on 2 servers. "SneakySneaky" is my first toon that I started when World of Warcraft first came out but had to change him to "Wassneaky" when I transfered him to Baelgun. He is a lvl70 undead rogue currently on Baelgun server.

Also on this server is a paladin that I am currently leveling up to tank and AOE grind, his name is Kersplooge (if you know where that name is from I will give you a cookie). My last toon is on Garona server, my original server. That toon is a lvl 70 priest, currently named "Healbot". I will more than likely move her over to Baelgun, because of some real life friends now on that server and because I pretty much hate Garona.

If you see me on at anytime, just send me a tell to say Hi.

Neat video about grinding

Here is a cool video that I found on http://www.wowinsider.com hosted by google video. It is a video showing how to grind with a Mage. Pretty good video, good editing and cool music. Enjoy.

The Day Has come

As mentioned earlier, here is a picture of me starting my progress on loosing weight. I will update the weight picture every week when I get one. As stated before my goal this week is to get to 240 pounds.

Monday, July 30, 2007

Work out this week

Well, I got the the gym this week and got myself weighed and from my last weighing, I lost 4 pounds :-). I am now at 242.6 pounds. My goal for next week will be 240 pounds. I know that that is alot in one week, but I am going to push for it. I will get some pics of myself and the weight print out that I get from the gym. I will post every week a new print out and every month or so a pic of me and how I look.

I went and got a pair of shorts this weekend and am down a size. Nothing feels better than that. I started cooking allot more. Tonight I cooked some barbque chicken out on the grill, took about 1 hour cooking time, very good. Had this with some baked beans and a sweet potato. Until next time. Will keep updating with my progress.

Thursday, July 26, 2007

Another Day and Somthing new

Well, its been a week and not much has changed around my house. I started taking Alli to help with my weight loss and to compliment my workout. So far don't see much change from it, but will weight myself next week and see if I loose any fat. I will keep this blog updated with my work out and eating. I think that it will be a good way to show my progression. Might take some pics of me, kind of like progression pics to help motivate me. Maybe that way I can see the physical changes as I workout and eat a lower fat diet.

As for the gaming, I have started up WoW again but not playing anywhere close to what I was before. Before I would have scheduled days that I play and now I just jump on for a hour or so to play with buddies and to chat.

Till another day.

Almost to the weekend..

Well, it is almost the weekend. Currently on call so not going to do much. Been out in the yard more and more this summer. trying to stop from playing WoW (World of Warcraft). I played since beta and currently stopped last month. I have really been enjoying being outside, kind of feels like when I was younger and aways outside.

Not much going on with me other than that. I will try and get some pics up on various things. since I know that just reading is boring :-).

Till next time.

Work, Work...

In work right now, got in about 12:00 am. Installing some new servers and working to move some existing servers to a new console server. The fun never ends.

Not an eventful weekend, finally got out in the yard and did some yard work. Cleaned up around the house, seems like that is all I do now, never ending cleaning.

I have been on the fence about my Wii, whether or not it was the right choice of console, and after reading some of the information from E3 this year, I think it is. Let me explain my reasoning. The Xbox has been confirmed to have a design flaw that causes the red ring of death, so if were to buy one of those, it is pretty much a crap shoot if my box would die. As for the PS3, they announced a price drop of $100 right before E3, but it turns out that that price drop is only temporary until they get rid of the 60gig model, so they can sell their bundled $80 gig model for $599.

All in all, I think I chose the winner of the 3. I can't wait till Metroid 3: Corruption comes out. A few on my wish list are that, Guitar Hero 3, and Mario Galaxies. I am still up in the air with Smash Brothers. I will defiantly have some games to play during Christmas.

Until next time..

Thursday, July 12, 2007

New Day ! !

Well a new day and more things to do. I finally got a chance to watch the E3 speech of Nintendo and I think that the WiiFit is exactly what I am looking for. I am currently working out 3-4 times a week and with something like that, it will only help me loose those 40 pounds that I have been trying to loose for the past 5 years.

I weigh myself every week at the gym, and I will scan and upload the weight data every week to display my progress. Maybe there is someone out there that can help or offer suggestion on my diet and workout. more to come on that later...

E307 - My impressions

Well, I am currently watching the Sony keynote online. Sony looks to have allot in store for the Sony line up. Starting with the PSP, there will be 3 more new versions, a silver, black and a Starwars version.

The PSN network looks to have gotten some upgrades also. You can download games or buy the games on Blue Ray. You can also now start a game within PSHome and this was see in the keynote by playing Motorstorm.

NCSoft will be developing games for Sony and the PS3 that will work directly with the PSNetwork. Ubsoft, will be delivering Haze to the PS3 exclusively. This game is a 1st person shooter, that looks very promising The trailer, cuts in and out of game play and real video. Very fluid.

Epic and Sony are releasing Unreal Tournament 3 to the PS3 and you can even use PC created mods. The game looks visually very stunning, and has a release date of November 07.

Some other games coming to PS3 that are not exclusives: Call of duty 4: Modern Warfare, Assassins Creed, Kane & Lynch: Deadmen, Resident Evil 5, Burnout Paradise, Madden NFL 08, Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix, The Simpson's game, Guitar hero III: Legends of Rock, Medal of Honor: Airborne, Rock Band.

The next 3rd party exclusive is MGS4 (Metal Gear Solid 4). Looks like it is still only going to be on PS3. The game is celebrating its 20th anniversary this July. This is the last of the Metal Gear Solid line, and the end of Snake. From looking at the trailer, this looks like a top notch game. The fight scene at the end of the trailer was truly amazing. The whole trailer was shown in real time. As of E3, we only see the trailer, nothing playable, but next week in Tokyo there will be a playable version. This is truly going to be a good game and might even turn the PS3 problems around.

Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is the next game that is shown. Does not look bad, very vibrant colors. Folklore is the next game.

Heavenly Sword was the next game shown . It is an Action/Adventure game about a sword that a human gets that was meant for a god, so the sword is draining the characters. The video is very high resolution and looks promising.

Next game is NBA 08, touting as the first game as full 1080p, with full online capability.

LittleBigPlanet shows as the next game, where you create your characters and run though a very interactive environment. This title will utilize the PSNetwork, where you can share your characters.

The final game is Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Very detailed game, with over 3000 animations on the main character.

A few other games that was mentioned was Infamous, and GT5 (very visually stunning.)

And the final game that was shown was Killzone 2. The trailer that was shown is the same one that has been floating around the net for the past few days. Everything that all the other news sites have been saying about this game is correct. If this game lives up to what we see here, this looks to turn out to be a really good game.

Overall Sony seems to have done a good job at E3, I believe that this is what Sony needed to get jump started, along with the PS3 price cut, to push there console further in peoples homes.

Here is a pic of my little Girl watching fireworks at the park on July 4th.
